Dr Gregory Warwick
Counselling Psychologist

Dr Warwick is Counselling Psychologist with over 8 years worth of experience working with people on their mental health problems using a variety of different therapeutic approaches.  In 2017 he was awarded membership with the British Psychological Society and chartership with the Health Care and Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist after having worked as a counsellor for many years.

Dr Warwick has managed school counselling services (Place2Be), worked in eating disorder clinics (Oakwood House), employee assistance programmes (Health Assured) and sexual assault charities (St Mary’s Manchester and Survivors Manchester) as a senior clinician. In addition to he has been the Lead Psychologist for a secure forensic hospital specialising in mental illness, personality disorder and Deafness.

Dr Warwick has been trained in a range of different therapies including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy. In addition to this Dr Warwick is trained to use the components of CBT for eating disorders (CBT-E), psychosis (CBT-P) and Trauma (CBT-TF). In addition to this he completed his doctoral thesis on internet relay communication and as a result is experienced in providing therapy online.
